Granja de Calor was founded in 2021 and is an old abandoned farm located on the Camino del
Norte. It is a donativo operated by Freddy and Nicole. With limited means they
are restoring the farm to receive pelgrims. Sofar they have received 600
pilgrims. The foundation supports the replacement of one of the main beams in
the ceiling of the kitchen.
The kitchen is
the main meeting room inside of the house where everybody can sit together,
eat, drink, talk and laugh. Very intense conversations take place right here.
There are plan to
create a second floor above the kitchen. Nearly everything they repair, restore
or build new, they do by themselves to control costs and put our hearts and
souls in it.
